On camera

What happens on camera

Tap a stock to open its page: the price and the day's move, a chart (with live prices, the stock's real price history, from 1D to MAX), and your position — shares, market value, average cost, portfolio diversity, and today's and total return. The bar at the bottom has one Trade button, which opens Buy and Sell. Type an amount in dollars or shares on the ticket's own keypad, tap Review and swipe up to submit: the screen fills with colour while it says Sending order…, then a card confirms the shares, the average price and the total, and the holding and your buying power move to match.

Investing opens on a strip of account names — Investing, Roth IRA, Joint and Custodial by default — and tapping one switches the screen to that account. Under the total, the change line names its range: Today on 1D, All time on ALL. Press and drag along the chart and the total shows that moment. Below it come Options, Crypto, Stocks & ETFs and Cash; each option opens its own page with contracts, breakeven, expiration and returns, and the options chain lists strikes to buy. The floating tab bar opens Search, Social and Account, and deposits, withdrawals, transfers, History, statements and notifications all work from the same figures. It comes in light, the default, or dark.

Alerts

Gains that arrive as notifications

Turn on alerts and real notifications arrive on the lock screen while you film, each one a stock you hold that's up today: "NVDA is up 6.54% today · +$1,129.83 · You're up $2,093.63 today". You choose how much each gain is worth, how often they come and for how long.

Each gain lands in the app: the stock's price rises by exactly that amount, so its day %, the account total and the day's gain in the headline all match the notification when the app is opened.

Alerts go to the phone that turned them on: on iPhone, the app added to the Home Screen from Safari (iOS 16.4 or later); on Android, Chrome or the installed app. Free alerts end in SIMULATED, like the mark on the app, and Pro removes it.

Branding

Your name and your icon

Pozer doesn’t include any logos. Give the app your own name and upload your own icon: a logo you made, or artwork you have the rights to use. Skip it and the editor makes a simple letter tile from the name.

Whatever you upload is your responsibility, and using another company’s logo is against our acceptable use policy. Set the name and icon before you install: they’re fixed on your home screen at the moment you add the app.

Getting it right

The numbers agree by themselves

You never type the portfolio total: it's each holding's shares multiplied by its price, plus each option's contracts × 100 × its price, plus your buying power. The day's change comes from each row's daily change, and the all-time return from each position's average cost, so the headline always matches the rows underneath it.

Prices come one of two ways, set under Positions. On Live market prices, the default for a new app, each stock's price, day move and charts come from the market, a little behind it, and coins from a live coin feed: you type the ticker, the shares and the average cost, and the totals follow the market. Type my own keeps every price and daily move where you type it, for an invented company, a crash or a figure the market won't give you. An option's contract price is one you type: on live prices it's where the contract closed yesterday, and through the day it moves with its stock.

With the template's example prices typed in, that's $104,845.41 — $63,239.55 in stocks, $7,082.44 of bitcoin, $9,710.00 in two option positions and $24,813.42 of buying power — up $963.80 (0.93%) Today and $28,885.65 (38.03%) All time. With live prices the same sums run on the market's prices, so the total moves with the market. Change a share count or an average cost, or a typed price or daily move, and the figures update together.

That matters on camera. When viewers call a trading screen fake, what they point at is numbers that don't add up, an account that only ever wins, or the signs of a demo or paper account, such as a round balance. With live prices the rows move the way the market moved that day. The typed example has losing rows of its own, and the buying power is set to the cent.

It has to be Safari. Chrome and the browsers inside Instagram or TikTok won’t install it properly.

Honest use

What it is not

It is not a brokerage. It connects to no broker or exchange, holds no money or shares, and every position and order on it is something you typed. Live prices only value what you typed; they don't make it a real account.

Fake trading screenshots are a favourite tool of signal groups, trading courses and investment scams. Using it to show results you didn't make — to sell a course, a signal group or a mentorship, or to get anyone to invest — is prohibited, and accounts that do it are closed. It is for skits, props and parody, never proof of funds.

Before you build

Are the stock prices real?

The prices can be. With Prices on Live market prices, the default for a new app, each stock's price, day move and charts follow the market, a little behind it, and so do coins under Crypto, Top mover, and the S&P 500 and Nasdaq on Search. The holdings are still yours: you type the ticker, the shares and the average cost. Option contracts start from the price you type and move with their stock. Set Prices to Type my own and every price and daily change is the number you enter, and it stays exactly where you set it while you film. Apps published before live prices arrived keep their typed prices.

Do Buy and Sell change the portfolio?

Yes. Buying adds shares and takes the cost out of your buying power; selling does the reverse, and every order ends on a card that confirms it. A trade at the market price leaves the total where it was, as it would in a real account — what moves is the holding and the buying power. The ticket won't take a buy bigger than your buying power or a sale bigger than your holding: the line under the amount turns orange-red and Review stays dim.

Can I use my own stocks?

Yes. Hold up to eight positions, each with its own ticker, company name, share count and average cost. With live prices the market fills in each price and daily change; with Type my own you type those too. Give one a coin's symbol, such as BTC or ETH, and it reads as a coin amount and appears under Crypto. Values can be shown in US dollars, euros, pounds or Indonesian rupiah; live prices are quoted in US dollars and converted at a fixed, approximate rate, so they read at the right size in each currency.

Can it show options?

Yes. Add up to six option positions, each with its underlying, call or put, strike, expiration, contracts, average cost and current price. Each opens its own page with breakeven, today's return and total return, which can be as large as the scene needs, and the options chain on each stock lists contracts to buy on camera. With live prices each contract follows its stock through the day, so calls lose value on a red day and puts gain.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. On iPhone, open your app in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen — it has to be Safari, because Chrome and the browsers inside Instagram or TikTok don't offer a proper install. On Android, Chrome offers Install app. Either way it launches fullscreen with your own icon.

Is it a copy of Robinhood?

No. It's an original design laid out like a modern commission-free brokerage app, which is why we call it Robinhood-style. It carries no Robinhood name, logo or artwork.

Can it send stock alerts to my lock screen?

Yes. Turn on alerts in the installed app and gains on the stocks you hold arrive as real notifications, and land in the app: the price, the day % and the day's gain all move by what the notification said.
